Tournament organiser Relog Media has announced the Home Sweet Home Masters, the company’s biggest CS:GO event to date.
The competition, which is expected to take place in February 2022, will include a $250,000 (~£181,782) prize pool and features all of this year’s Home Sweet Home series victors.

According to Relog Media, the plan is for the Home Sweet Home Masters to be an offline event held at Hotel Jugoslavija in Belgrade, Serbia. In total. 16 teams will compete in the competition, four of which will be invited. The remaining 12 places will be decided through Relog Media’s Home Sweet Home series.
As of this writing, FunPlus Phoenix, HAVU and Mousesports have already qualified through Home Sweet Home victories.
It has also been announced that esports data platform GRID will continue as Relog Media’s data partner across all events. Moreover, if the Home Sweet Home Masters does take place offline, it will be the tournament organiser’s first LAN experience.

Since the COVID pandemic, the Serbian-based company has organised a multitude of competitions, such as its Nine to Five events and the Home Sweet Home series. According to the release, Relog media has distributed a total of $1.2m (~£872,557) in prize pools since the pandemic began.
Spring Sweet Spring #1, Relog Media’s latest Home Sweet Home series, is currently underway. The likes of MAD Lions, Nordavind, and Young Ninjas, among many others, are battling it out in the regional group stage for the chance to take home part of its $100,000 prize pool and claim a spot at Home Sweet Home Masters. Teams invited for Spring Sweet Spring’s main swiss stage and the playoffs have not been revealed.
Esports Insider says: It’s great to see Relog Media continue to grow and develop throughout the pandemic. The Home Sweet Home Masters feels like a major deal as it’s the official final stop in the HSH series. The fact that it will likely be a LAN event helps build the occasion as well.
With this announcement, it’ll be interesting to see if the tournament organiser’s Home Sweet Home events receives more interest from CS:GO teams, due to qualification for a larger event now being on the line.
