EPOS’ logo will also feature on Heroic’s jersey while players representing the organisation will participate in testing programmes to assist with the audio brand’s product development.

The audio brand joins the likes of audience analytics firm Cavea and energy drinks company Red Bull as part of Heroic’s commercial portfolio. The organisation currently fields rosters in Rocket League, CS:GO, PUBG and sim racing, in addition to its roster of content creators.

Oliver Valsgaard, Head of Esports at Heroic, spoke on the partnership: “One of the most important pieces of equipment a professional esports player need is a great headset. We love that EPOS has such a sophisticated portfolio of audio products and innovative technology.”

“We are also looking forward to working closely together with EPOS, to constantly develop better audio experiences for all gamers and esports players out there.”

Following the company’s rebrand from Sennheiser Communications in November 2019, EPOS has gone on to secure notable esports partnerships with BLAST Premier, Overactive Media and Cloud9, among others.

Maja Sand-Grimnitz, Director of Global Marketing and Gaming at EPOS, added: ”We’re really excited to start our partnership with Heroic and provide their players with premium audio equipment for gaming. As two strong brands with roots in Denmark, Heroic and the EPOS brand are a great fit, and we are looking forward to unleashing the power of audio and support Heroics journey to the top this year.”

Esports Insider says: Heroic securing EPOS as its latest partner is another milestone following its acquisition by Omaken Sports. For the audio brand, the deal is another addition to what’s becoming an impressive partnership portfolio.
