The inaugural season of the LSPS runs from the beginning of March until May 21st. In addition to a $20,000 (~£15,188) prize pool split across five tournaments, eyewear brand Goodr has been named as a presenting sponsor of the circuit.

John DeHart, Director of Business Development at UMG Gaming, spoke on the launch: “The goal of the tournament series is to break down the walls that have been unjustly placed in front of female competitors across the esports ecosystem. We are beyond excited to support and uplift the female Halo community.”

Alongside Goodr, Madrinas Coffee, gaming peripherals manufacturer RESPAWN Products, and esports-focused social media platform Juked will partner with the event. Furthermore, the LSPS will be shown on the UMG Gaming and Xbox Twitch channels.

Ben Holdhaber, Co-founder and CEO of Juked, added: One of our top goals with Juked is to make esports more inclusive and welcoming to everyone. Esports tournaments that shine a spotlight on talented female players, and creating a positive example for all aspiring female pros, are an important way forward for our community. Culturally, partnering with LSPS was a no-brainer for us.”

Esports Insider says: Halo’s resurgence shows no signs of slowing down as UMG Gaming becomes the latest tournament organiser to create a circuit. Providing aspiring female players with a platform to showcase their skills is a great way to help them compete at a higher level.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
