ESL Pro League’s Commissioner Alexander Inglot last week announced that the members of its Louvre Agreement will donate $125,000 (£95,000) to help people affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The funds will be donated to recipients that include UNHCR, MSF, Amnesty International and The Red Cross.

ESL Gaming announced that the funds will be raised by 14 teams that are a part of the agreement, as well as the company itself. The amount of money raised will compliment any other disaster relief efforts that the included teams did in the past to help the citizens of Ukraine.
The teams themselves are helping in a number of ways, with prominent Ukrainian organisation NAVI delivering humanitarian aid and handing out clothes in Ukraine.
Alexander Ingolt, the ESL Pro League Commissioner, said via Twitter: ” Today, members of the Louvre Agreement, which includes ESL Gaming and leading teams in CS:GO, have agreed to pool a $125,000 (USD) donation for disaster relief organisations supporting people affected by the Russian invasion into Ukraine.”

The news come after ESL Gaming sanctioned Russian teams, which prohibited Gambit and Virtus.pro to compete in the Pro League. The company did, however, has allowed the players of both teams to participate in tournaments under different names. Virtus.pro players will play as Outsiders in the Pro League and Gambit is still to announce the name under which the roster will compete.
Esports Insider says: It’s good to see the Louvre Agreement teams join forces and help Ukraine with a donation. This is just one of the ways esports teams are contributing and helping the victims of the war in Ukraine.
