Mei-Ling Zhou is a Damage hero and one of the original Overwatch cast who has been part of the hero lineup since the game launched in 2016. Because of this, she has a range of Overwatch skins for players to choose from.

Seeing as there are so many Mei skins in Overwatch 2, it’s understandable that some are more noteworthy than others. With this in mind, we’re going to be taking a look at 10 of the best Overwatch 2 Mei skins.

There are all sorts of Mei skins in Overwatch 2, but the best ones are the outfits that reflect her fun-loving and charming personality as well as those that connect to her lore and have excellent designs. Here are our picks for the best Mei Overwatch skins available in 2025. 

Neon Streets is a surprising and different skin for Mei. It’s a little out of character for her, which is why it has to be at the number 10 spot on this list. However, it is one of her best skins despite this, as – oddly enough – it suits her character really well. 

Mei is redesigned to look like a cyberpunk-style, neon-coloured, graffiti-raver with this skin, as are the other skins in the Neon Streets collection. Her hair is now blue and pink, and she dons long braids, a face mask, and shorts. Her companion Snowball is also redesigned to look like a large spray paint can. It’s nice to see Mei getting a different outfit, as she often wears large, bulky clothes. Alchemist was released as a battle pass skin that was part of a group of fantasy-themed skins. The skin puts a fantastical twist on Mei’s scientific roots by turning her into a steampunk-style alchemist. She dons mechanical goggles and has potions attached to her hip. Her robotic companion Snowball also gets a steampunkesque makeover. It’s a creative take on Mei’s career as a scientist and expert climatologist, blending fantasy with her career in the Overwatch world and seamlessly integrating her lore with a unique skin.

Mei’s Rainy Day skin is quite rare, as it was only available until March 2025 during a Twitch Drop event where, if players followed the instructions, it could be obtained for free. Rainy Day is particularly fitting for Mei due to its cute aesthetics. Mei gets a green-and-yellow colour palette, pink hair, and a frog-themed design, with a cute frog friend sitting on her hood and frog-themed gloves. Even Snowball gets a froggy makeover. Mei is known for being one of the “cuter” female heroes, so this look suits her well. It’s also nice to see Mei get a different kind of weather-themed skin. As her powers are snow and ice themed, that’s usually what she gets for the styles and designs of her skins. A rain theme is a nice change that fits Mei well, making it one of her best.

Mei’s Rise and Shine animated cinematic tells the story of how Mei ended up as the sole survivor of a cryostasis malfunction. One of the outfits that she wears in the short is the Ecopoint: Antarctica skin, which she puts together to escape from the facility. This is a well-made skin that is also thematically relevant to Mei’s lore. 

When it comes to a cute and popular Mei skin in Overwatch 2, Penguin is one of the top picks. Mei’s outfit is redesigned to look like a penguin, including a penguin-faced hood and flipper feet. This is one of Mei’s earliest legendary skins that has been available for her since Overwatch 1 launched, and it still manages to be one of her best in Overwatch 2. 

Mei is one of the few plus-sized heroes in Overwatch 2, and she gets a chance to show off her curves with the cute Honeydew skin. Mei’s outfit with this skin is themed on the honeydew melon.
