TL;DR

  • The Simpsons have taken over Fortnite for a mini season that bridges the gap between Chapter 6 and Chapter 7.
  • New cosmetics, items and quests themed around The Simpsons are part of the new mini season.
  • There are four categories of quests that earn different XP amounts.
  • Some of the new Simpsons items include the Blinky the Fish consumable and the Mr. Blasty pistol.
  • Completing quests are a great way to earn XP and make your way through the Simpsons themed battle pass more efficiently.

The Simpsons Fortnite collaboration is well underway, and there is plenty of fun and engaging content for players to dive into. Although the skins tend to be the main focus, as is the case with most Fortnite events, they aren’t all that the collab has to offer.

The crossover has a bunch of brand-new quests that players can complete to earn XP and progress through the battle pass much more quickly. Not all the quests are easy to find, though, as the game doesn’t hold your hand when it comes to discovering them. There are also several new items in the game related to The Simpsons, including weapons and consumables. We’re going to look at all the new content in the Fortnite Simpsons mini season, including the items, weapons, quests.

The Simpsons in Fortnite

As mentioned, the Fortnite Simpsons season includes a range of new content, from skins to quests and items. Skins are split between the battle pass and the item shop. At the time of writing, only Bart Simpson is available to purchase in the item shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. Lisa Simpson is set to be coming to the shop as a skin soon, and she will likely cost the same or a similar amount. Other Simpsons characters receiving skins include Krusty the Clown, Scratchy the Cat and Moe Szyslak.

The Simpsons battle pass includes several skins of Simpsons characters as well as Fortnite character skins with a Simpsons style redesign. The battle pass costs 1,000 V-Bucks, and the following skins can be earned:

  • Homer Simpsons
  • Evil Homer
  • Marge Simpson
  • Witch Marge
  • Ned Flanders
  • Stupid Sexy Flanders
  • Blinky Fishstick
  • Hazardous Blinky Fishstick
  • Springfielder Peely

Let’s take a look at the Simpsons related quests currently available in Fortnite as well as how much XP players can earn by completing them. We’ll also take a look at the new items that can be used in battle royale and what they can do.

There are four different categories of Simpsons quests, which are as follows:

  • Hidden Gag quests
  • Kickstart quests
  • Lost & Found quests
  • Springfield Stories quests

Each of these quest types are different. Hidden Gags are a one time quest that requires players to find Simpsons Easter eggs by performing a certain task. Kickstart quests are challenges, and Lost & Found quests are repeatable tasks that trigger upon finding a certain item or talking to a particular NPC. The more times a Lost & Found quest is completed, more XP can be earned. Lastly are the Springfield Stories narrative quests, which follow the story line established in the animated event opening to the Fortnite Simpsons collaboration. Homer is in possession of the Zero Point Shard, so players have to complete the story quests to get him to relinquish it.
