Red Bull Legends Inn: All you need to know

Following the ALGS Open, esports fans are looking for the next tournament where they can get more Apex Legends action. Phillip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen, a key member of ALGS Open winners Team Falcons, and iiTzTimmy are hosting the second iteration of Red Bull Legends Inn. An Apex tournament is coming in December, which will offer aspiring esports players a chance to compete against the pros.

We’ll explain everything you need to know about the upcoming Red Bull Legends Inn, including how to watch and the prize pool.

An invite-only tournament kicking off on December 5, 2025, the Red Bull Legends Inn is an Apex Legends competition hosted by ImperialHal and iiTzTimmy. The esports stars will pick pro Apex players as team captains, who will build their duo following competitive online qualifiers.

For aspiring Apex players, the Red Bull Legends Inn offers an opportunity for dedicated fans to test their skills against hardened pros. In a total of nine rounds, unique challenges will present new obstacles for the strongest Apex Legends players.

Players will compete for a chunk of the $25,000 prize pool at the Godfrey Hotel in Chicago, Illinois, with the 10 leading teams taking home a slice of the pie. The athletes will be put up in custom suites, along with another exciting twist!

A unique feature will set the Red Bull Legends Inn apart from past Apex competitions. Once a team is eliminated from a match, their suite’s lights will go completely dark. This mechanic creates a real-life scoreboard out of the Godfrey Hotel. If you’re an Apex fan, then this’ll be a great chance to experience something completely different from traditional esports tournaments.

Apex Legends tournaments, including the Red Bull Legends Inn, are available to stream for free on the PlayApex Twitch channel. Notable esports personalities could livestream the competition with their commentary in the background, too.

At the time of writing, we don’t know how much tickets will cost or when they’ll be available for sale. Tickets include access to the Godfrey Rooftop Bar to watch the competition live and attend the afterparty, though only fans aged 21+ will be allowed to attend the Red Bull Legends Inn.

Information about how to qualify for the Red Bull Legends Inn is limited, but more will be announced in the next few months.

With a unique ‘lights out’ format and a variety of fan-decided challenges, there’s a lot to like about the Red Bull Legends Inn. Reps and Verhulst took home the gold in 2024, so hopefully we’ll see just as much action at the Godfrey Hotel this December.
