HyperX, the gaming peripheral division of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., has had a busy week. It has been revealed that HyperX is to be the official keyboard sponsor of the PGL Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major Krakow 2017. Additionally, HyperX is celebrating a ten-year anniversary with esports organisation SK Gaming.

Krakow sponsorship

The sponsorship of the Krakow Major will see HyperX sponsor 9 of the last 11 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Majors, including the ELEAGUE Major earlier this year. The company will have an onsite booth where fans will have the opportunity to try HyperX accessories, including the soon to be released Alloy Elite keyboard, as well as headsets, other keyboards and mice. The peripherals are also available for purchase.

“We are thrilled to partner with PGL for the Krakow Majors to continue our longstanding eSports commitment to the Counter Strike community,” said Annie L. Gerard, Global Strategic Marketing Manager, HyperX. “With PGL’s outstanding history of tournament success, we anticipate this event to be one of the biggest Majors to date. As such, we’re excited to reveal the latest and most luminous product offering yet, the HyperX Alloy Elite Keyboard to complete any gamer’ set up for FPS domination.”

“We have found a great partner in HyperX, who understands better than most that at this level of competition, anything less than excellence in tournament competition will just not cut it with players or fans. Their drive to create the best possible gaming experience matches our own drive to produce and broadcast the most entertaining CS:GO event imaginable. We are eager to unite our two brands and deliver on the promise made to fans that the PGL Major Krakow 2017 will deliver CS:GO like they’ve never seen before,” said Silviu Stroie, CEO, PGL.

Ten year anniversary with SK Gaming

There’s not too many companies in esports that have ten years of history, never mind a partnership spanning ten years. This year, HyperX celebrates ten years of partnership with SK Gaming, one of the leading esports organisations. The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team recently took first place at ECS Season 3 Finals in London, Wembley, after an epic final against FaZe.

“It is the blueprint of a mutually beneficial partnership. HyperX provides our players with high-quality memory and peripherals, and over the years we gave valuable input for the development of HyperX esports gaming gear,” said Alexander Müller, SK Gaming’s Managing Director. “We were one of the first teams to be sponsored by HyperX. They not only have supplied us with high speed memory and SSDs, but now our teams proudly bring into action HyperX FPS Alloy keyboards and Fury S mousepads in the biggest tournaments around the world.”

“Ten years is a major achievement in the gaming industry to be working together and we highly value the collaboration and passion SK Gaming continually brings to the table,” said Ben Malka, esports and communities manager, HyperX EMEA. “We’ve been supporting each other since the early days of esports and we look forward to continuing the relationship well into the future, while wishing them success for the remaining 2017 tournament schedule.”

Esports Insider says: Congratulations to HyperX and SK Gaming on ten years together, an incredible achievement. 9 our of 11 CS:GO Majors isn’t a bad record, and Krakow will be the latest. SK Gaming will hold high hopes of taking home another major title.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
