It has been announced that Prime Talent, a talent representation agency has merged with esports marketing agency Press X.
Prime Talent manages around 50 well-known esports personalities including H2k-Gaming’s Jungle Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski, Fnatic’s Top Laner Paul “sOAZ” Boyer and Team Dignitas’s AD Carry Johnny “Altec” Ru. The company is led by ex-pro League player Marcel “Dexter” Feldkamp and Cloud9 League Analyst Ferris Ganzman.
Press X, on the other hand, represents teams, brands and content creators and helps them connect with different organizations like Intel, Mountain Dew and Acer. Press X was created by the same co-founders of Everyday Influencers (EI), to help consult both endemic and non-endemic brands looking to enter esports.
“We’re excited to have both Marcel and Ferris be a part of the team because we all believe in solving a major issue in esports, the lack of proper representation,” said Noah Lee, Head of Marketing at Press X.
“Their experience from being on both sides of the business has helped
them really understand the needs and struggles of pro players.”
When asked about how the merger would help Press X, Lee stated that it will help his company become a “full service agency”, able to help both companies and players.
“The merger allows Press X to have a dedicated team that will advocate and look after pro players’ interests. Whether that is negotiating contracts, giving clients advice, or helping to place them in the most competitive organizations.”
Lee stated that the overall purpose of Press X is now to “guide every esports pro and aspiring pro through their careers, help with their contracts and build their brands.”
