NBA 2K League team Magic Gaming announced its latest sponsorship with gaming peripheral company, HyperX. The announcement states the partnership will include in-game and social media campaigns for the Orlando Magic 2K team. Magic Gaming also holds sponsorships with Alienware and most recently announced a partnership with California-based virtual reality company, Ceek.

Michael Forde, Orlando Magic Chief Sales Officer commented: “Magic Gaming is excited to welcome a world-class brand like HyperX to our family for the inaugural season. HyperX has vast experience in the world of esports and we look forward to working with them to collectively grow our team and HyperX brands.”

This is one of many sponsorships for HyperX in the NBA 2K league as the company is the headset sponsor for Mavs Gaming, Grizz Gaming, Jazz Gaming and the league itself.

Dustin Illingworth, Influencer Manager of HyperX said: “HyperX is thrilled to sponsor Magic Gaming for the inaugural NBA 2K season. Magic Gaming’s content-centric strategy is extremely appealing to us, bringing new and returning fans as close to the action as possible.”

The inaugural season of the NBA 2K League is currently ongoing with 17 teams and will play its second mid-season tournament on July 13th with season finals held in August. The league recently announced June 29th as the deadline for any of the other 13 NBA teams wishing to buy into the league for next season.

Esports Insider says: This sponsorship announcement really comes as no surprise considering HyperX is already a sponsor of the league as well as many other teams. The company is quickly becoming the top name in NBA 2K League sponsorship and as many other teams are lacking peripheral sponsors we’re fairly certain this won’t be the last announcement from them. While some may be concerned at the current viewership of the league matches, companies like HyperX are putting confidence in the league and literally putting their money where their mouth is.

Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
