Luis Carrillo, Managing Director of Live Media discussed the partnership: “The esports are in a stage of explosive growth in Latin America. The sponsoring brands have opened their eyes with great expectation surprised by the levels of audience and the enormous connection with young people that this type of content generates.

“Developing one of the most successful platforms of competition on the continent has been a challenge for the Live Media Team. Now is the time to reach the next level and with this partnership with Ironklad Studios is an opportunity to create amazing visual content and expand the brand in the United States, an esports mecca. Starting today begins a before and after for our project.”

Liga Pro Gaming’s competitive offering involves Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and Fortnite. It also provides media coverage on the aforementioned titles.

Dmitry Fitisov, Managing Director of Ironklad Studios also touched on the deal: “At Ironklad Studios, we work with video game publishers and believe in the huge potential of the Latin American market. We have found in Live Media a strategic partner and an excellent opportunity to assist them with our visual development skill set. We are happy to contribute resources and our expertise in order to take esports in Latam to the next level. Liga Pro Gaming is a product with great potential as an esports competition platform and content generator.”

Ironklad Studios has produced plenty of work for video games and game developers including Riot Games’ League of Legends, Ubisoft’s The Division, and Halo 5: Guardians.

Esports Insider says: Peru appears to be one of the lesser-supported countries when it comes to esports, so Liga Pro Gaming is a blessing – creating tournaments and providing ample coverage of numerous scenes. Hopefully, with the help of Ironklad Studios, more exposure can be brought to what Live Media is doing.
