North American organisation Cloud9 and gaming chair specialist Secretlab are partnering up to release a new special edition chair.

Cloud9 is on a roll with 2018 being the most successful year for the recently crowned Esports Organisation of the Year at the 2018 Esports Awards. To finish the year on a high note, Cloud9 has announced a fresh partnership with Secretlab.

The chair specialist will provide the 17 teams under Cloud9’s banner with special edition chairs. Co-designed by Secretlab and the team, the new chair has the same features as the OMEGA 2018 and TITAN models.

Jack Etienne, CEO, and Owner at Cloud9 said: “Secretlab caught our eye as they were making waves in the gaming chair scene. After trying their chairs out, we immediately understood what the fuss was about. We expect our equipment partners to be of the highest professional quality, and Secretlab’s products matched our expectations in spades, which was why we decided to partner with them. From here on out, our players will be training for and winning championships in the full comfort provided by the incredible Secretlab Cloud9 chairs.”

Recently, Cloud9 announced the opening of its training facility with chairs by Secretlab. According to the organisation, it will be located in Los Angeles, California. The new facility will be home base for all the Cloud9 teams that are set to start training there in 2019.

Ian Alexander Ang, Secretlab’s Co-Founder, and CEO: “For the years ahead, we’ll be supporting Cloud9’s backs with our ultra-comfortable, award-winning chairs as they conquer further world championships.”

In 2018, Cloud9’s Overwatch League team London Spitfire won the inaugural season. The organisation also collected victories in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Rocket League.

The special edition chair and the collectible patches for customization will be available on Secretlab’s site and Cloud9’s store.

Esports Insider says: According to a report by Forbes, Cloud9 is the most valuable esports organisation. This year has been great for the organisation with victories on multiple titles, new investors and sponsors. An organisation deserving of the title Esports Organisation of the Year not only for the quality of their gameplay but also the contribution they make to the industry.
