Spanish esports organisation Team Heretics has appointed Logitech G as its official peripherals partner.

The organisation’s players will train with Logitech G’s peripherals moving forward.

Antonio Catena, CEO of Team Heretics commented on the partnership in a statement: “In Heretics we have always bet on the best and, speaking of peripherals, the brand [of] excellence has always been Logitech G.”

Team Heretics is also partnered with Discord, G FUEL, QUERSUS, San Miguel, KFC, X Controllers, and Predator; it currently competes in Call of Duty, Clash Royale, Fortnite, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The organisation rose to international popularity upon qualifying for the Call of Duty World League at the beginning of 2019 and has subsequently placed within the top eight teams at CWL Fort Worth, CWL London, and CWL Anaheim.

Last month, Team Heretics unveiled Real Madrid footballer Sergio Reguilón as a shareholder and investor. As part of his role within the organisation, he’ll actively promote the brand as it attempts to capitalise off of his sizable audience in traditional sports.

Logitech G is also partnered with the likes of Riot Games’ LEC, Cheddar Sports, G2 Esports, London Spitfire, Altus Esports, Royal Never Give Up, Team SoloMid, and Lazarus. Most recently, it joined forces with Finnish organisation ENCE.

Esports Insider says: Rather similar to an organisation such as ENCE, Team Heretics has come out of seemingly nowhere to make a name for itself in ‘mainstream’ esports this year after a string of solid results. Bringing in Logitech G – which is partnered with some of the more prominent names in the industry – is a positive sign for the Spanish brand.
