DreamHack Masters Jönköping strengthens the bond of esports and the city of Jönköping, which has played host to the DreamHack Summer & Winter festival since 2002 – a relationship that was recently renewed through to 2022.
It’s been a busy December for DreamHack, with plans for the 2020 Nordic Championships announced and the company taking over the UKLC. It also just announced that it would be hosting four Magic: The Gathering Arena tournaments in 2020.
Esports Insider says: DreamHack, esports, and Jönköping. The three are seemingly part of an extremely successful relationship and it’s fantastic to see the city receive a significant status boost with Masters status. With the tournament running alongside DreamHack Summer, we hope to see the event prove successful.
