The organisation announced it would be building its own headquarters in July last year when it raised $35 million in its Series B funding round. New York-based investment management company Artist Capital Management led the round with contribution from Aglaé Ventures, the early stage investment program of Groupe Arnault – which is the controlling shareholder of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH).

As the name of the compound suggests, Cash App is its title sponsor. The partnership between 100 Thieves and the payment service is described as “the most comprehensive sponsorship deal in the esports industry” in a release as its covers the headquarters, its teams, its content, and its jersey.

Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, Founder & CEO of 100 Thieves discussed the facility in a release: “The 100 Thieves Cash App Compound is the product of our vision to build a new category of company – a lifestyle brand born from gaming. Los Angeles is the epicenter of esports, entertainment, and fashion, which are the three pillars we founded the company upon, so this is the perfect home for innovating on what an esports organization and lifestyle brand can be. I can’t wait for our fans to experience the Compound.”

Esports Insider says: Ignoring all of the hyperbole being thrown around about the facility, it’s clear that 100 Thieves is one of the leading organisations in the industry and that’s shown across all facets of its business – this facility included. We’re more interested to see just how the compound helps 100 Thieves to take things to the next level.

Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
