Team Singularity welcomes NOCCO to the fold after a successful period in the organisation’s history, with teams in esports titles such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, and Call of Duty all posting strong results.

Atle Stehouwer, CEO of Team Singularity, shared his thoughts on the organisation’s upswing in form and new partnership: “Part of our success is due to payoff from hard work, strong team spirit and solid increase in mental and physical preparations.

“Being one of the leading talent incubators in esports, naturally we have big focus on both collective and individual performance besides player and management development. A vital part of our results is our focus on both physical and mental preparation, which our partnership with NOCCO confirms. They bring the necessary focus and endurance our players need.”

NOCCO, which markets itself as a sports and performance drink company, has previous experience in esports. The company has partnered with the likes of Astralis, Emil “HeatoN” Christensen, and Kappa Bar.

A statement from Mathias Kronstrand, CEO at NOCCO Denmark, described NOCCO’s ambitions to “continue and increase our contribution to esports from a fitness perspective,” noting the importance of physical nutrition in both sports and esports performance.

Kronstrand also provided further insight into the terms of the new deal, stating: “Part of the partnership is to involve Team Singularity with our own group of top athletes, and we believe connecting the athletes from both worlds in this context will lift the performance overall.”

Esports Insider says: The rising attention paid to the physical well-being of esports professionals means nutritional partnerships such as this are a no-brainer. Involving Team Singularity with NOCCO’s partnered athletes is an interesting addition that should further highlight the importance of a healthy lifestyle for gamers.
