Professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players Filip “NEO” Kubski and Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas have joined forces again to launch Polish organisation HONORIS.
The two Polish players competed together on Virtus.pro for more than four years.

Alongside the announcement, HONORIS has revealed that energy drink brand Red Bull will be a sponsor of the organisation moving forward.
TaZ spoke on the venture in a release: “After years of playing at the highest level I still feel hungry for fighting and winning, but I wanted to do it fully on my own terms, on my own responsibility and with my own long-term vision. I did not believe that any of the organizations would give me such flexibility. Creating our own esports ‘home’ with Filip we can be sure that we will have the last word. We’re also very excited about cooperating with Red Bull. The commitment of this brand is the great recognition for our new organization.”

Having competed in Counter-Strike for well over a decade, the pair are confident that “the new organization is to be the next stage of their professional development” and will “enable them to use their knowledge and experience in order to professionalise Polish and world e-sport.”
The organisation has been named HONORIS in an effort to symbolise values and traits that the founders try to promote such as honour, fair play, and mutual respect.
NEO added: “We also have common sports ambitions so that we want to continue playing, but also to share our experience with younger gamers, which is one of the most important goals of Honoris.”
Esports Insider says: It’s interesting to see two Counter-Strike legends come together to try and improve Polish esports and the wider industry. Hopefully, with the support of Red Bull, the pair will have as much success as other players-turned-founders like Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag. However, with the organisation moving into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive without a solidified spot in the ESL Pro League or Flashpoint, it’ll likely be a slow start.
