AMD originally partnered with SK Gaming over a decade ago – specifically in 2008 – when the manufacturer became SK Gaming’s main sponsor.
SK Gaming’s announcement explained that “going forward, AMD is once again going to ensure that the SK players have computers which deliver the performance edge needed to win, as well as stream at the highest quality no matter the game in question. Besides that, fans can look forward to even more exciting news coming out of the partnership in the coming months.”

The announcement went on to describe that additional content would follow on SK Gaming’s social media accounts, but it wasn’t specific in what fans can expect.
The German organisation is currently partnered with the likes of such as OnePlus, Mercedes-Benz, and Deutsche Telekom, otherwise known as T-Mobile. AMD sponsors the likes of Fnatic and Evil Geniuses, and has previously worked on a brand endorsement deal with professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev.
Esports Insider says: It’s reassuring to see AMD continuing to invest in the esports industry with the brands coming together yet again over a decade later since a working relationship was first established.
