Wanda Hu, Founder of Armaggeddon, spoke on the arrangement in the release: “Armaggeddon has been supporting the esports industry in the often-overlooked Southeast Asia region for the last 10 years. When EVOS Esports presented a robust portfolio and partnership proposal, that gave us the confidence to work together and partnering with them was an easy decision to make. We look forward to growing the esports scene in Southeast Asia and on an international level with EVOS Esports.”

In November 2019, EVOS Esports raised a total of $4.4 million (£3.38 million) in Series A investment in an attempt to capture the gaming market in Southeast Asia. EVOS Esports has worked with more than 30 brands, including the likes of TikTok and Lazada.

Esports Insider says: EVOS Esports will be launching its Series B investment round in the near future so it’ll be interesting to see how it attempts to grow further. This could be an exciting time for Armaggeddon to get involved with the organisation!
