Intel joins the likes of Razer, Garmin, Wrigley’s Orbit brand, LG, and Puma as partner of the organisation, which formed in 2019 when x-kom Team and AGO Esports announced a merger.
The collaboration marks the entrance to the Polish esports market for Intel. x-kom AGO currently fields rosters in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fortnite, and StarCraft II.

Jakub Szumielewicz, President of x-kom AGO, spoke on the partnership in a release: “I am very proud that after two and a half years of activity in the esports industry, our efforts have been noticed by the global giant – Intel. When I first stood in Spodek Hall in Katowice during the Intel Extreme Masters, I was extremely impressed with the momentum of the event, supported by our new collaborator.
“Cooperation with Intel has been a strategic goal for us from the very beginning of our company’s existence. Now we are starting cooperation and I believe that this is just the beginning of our joint activities in esports.”
Esports Insider says: Intel is no stranger to collaborating with organisations and tournament organisers. Despite this being a first for the Polish market, the partnership appears to be nothing out of the ordinary.
