Esports talent agency Bad Moon Talent has entered into a deal to represent North American computer keyboard manufacturer Matrix Keyboards as its agency of record.
The manufacturer is the first brand to sign exclusively with the talent agency.
The talent agency will utilise its existing connections with a range of influencers and esports organisations in a bid to secure brand partnerships for Matrix Keyboards.
Brice Faccento, Vice President at Bad Moon Talent, spoke on the collaboration: “A year and a half ago, Cody [Hyman, Co-Founder of Matrix Keyboards] and I were at CWL Dallas swapping intel about each other’s new projects. Today, I’m incredibly excited to announce this partnership between Bad Moon Talent and Matrix Keyboards. I believe BMT will add incredible value to Matrix Keyboards by structuring unique partnerships with influencers, esport teams and other endemic gaming brands.”
Since the launch of Bad Moon Talent in 2019, it has signed a total of 25 representatives including esports players, commentators, presenters, and content creators.
2020 has certainly been productive for Matrix Keyboards. The firm has become the official keyboard and keycap provider of North American organisation Misfits Gaming and also collaborated with the Esports Awards.
On the partnership, Cody Hyman, Co-Founder of Matrix Keyboards added: “We couldn’t be more excited to partner up with Bad Moon Talent. Brice and Andrew [Drake] are veterans in the community who really know the space, and we couldn’t be happier having them in charge of our partnership efforts. They will help pave a path as Matrix continues to grow and becomes a household brand name.”
Esports Insider says: Since its launch, Bad Moon Talent has done a solid job in establishing itself in what has become a highly competitive sector in the industry. Matrix Keyboards has established itself as a popular peripherals manufacturer. Now it is armed with the connections provided by Bad Moon Talent, this partnership could be fruitful for all involved.
