The deal not only includes the supply of “one-of-a-kind custom keyboards” for each of Misfits Gaming Group’s properties, a jersey sponsorship has been forged for Misfits Gaming’s North American competitors.

Ben Spoont, CEO and Co-founder of Misfits Gaming Group, discussed the partnership in a release: “Choosing to work with Matrix Keyboards was a no brainer after learning more about their teams’ commitment to high-quality peripherals built for esports athletes. I can’t wait to reveal some of the custom Misfits, Mayhem, and Mutineers products we’ve been working on and get them in the hands of our fans!”

Last month, Misfits Gaming Group announced that it had received grants to establish its headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida. The 18,000 square foot facility is said to be an investment of over $1.35 million (£1,034,775) for the company.

An unspecified person representing Matrix Keyboards also spoke on the deal: “Teaming up with Misfits Gaming Group is something we are very excited about as we believe this to be a big step in innovating team and player branded products, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to start that with some of the top pros and teams across various gaming platforms.”

Esports Insider says: This isn’t the biggest partnership we’ve seen in recent times by any means but, don’t be mistaken, it yields a lot of potential for Matrix Keyboards to advertise its products if executed correctly.
