The content will initially be focused on League of Legends and VALORANT. Moreover, the partnership will aim to provide players with insights that can be used to improve their gaming skills.

Solenne Lagrange, Marketing and Creative Director for GINX commented: “Mobalytics’ innovative and very high-quality approach to providing useful tips provides a powerful proposition for our ever-growing community of players.

“This new relationship with Mobalytics is a significant step in GINX’ ambitions to provide an exhaustive, video-focused coverage of gaming and its competitive side to players. It naturally complements our already wide proposition of news, event-coverage, guides and TV shows dedicated to esports lifestyle.”

Mobalytics features a gaming companion app that provides real-time statistics, feedback, and tips for improving competitive performance. The website community, meanwhile, offers guides for League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, VALORANT, and Legends of Runeterra. The player can then practice what they’ve learned by playing a browser game called ‘Proving Grounds’.

The partnership comes during a time of strategic growth for both companies. GINX Esports TV recently updated its platform, partnered with esports talk show network Preediction, and entered into a monetisation agreement with Venatus.

Since winning the TechCrunch Disrupt Battlegrounds in 2016, Mobalytics has secured multiple partnerships with games publishers and received investment from T1 Entertainment & Sports earlier this year. In 2019, the company became a partner of Riot Games’ LCS Scouting Grounds, providing statistical profiles of all competitors.

Mobalytics raised a further $11.25m (£8.78m) in July of 2020.

Esports Insider says: Amateur esports is thriving right now, especially as local and international tournaments have moved online during the pandemic and it seems everyone from middle school to college institutions host esports programmes. Esports commentary is usually thought of around pro events, but adding a how-to element to GINX Esports TV makes great sense.
