SnowSweetSnow, which is a part of the HomeSweetHome series, officially commenced on January 18th with its regional qualifiers. The main stage is set to commence on February 1st.

According to the release, the partnership is a ‘first of its kind’ for HSH and highlights the growing trend of more non-endemic companies entering into the esports industry.

Milutin Pecic, the CEO of Relog Media, commented: “Here at Relog Media, we have been working towards bringing the excitement of Esports to new companies and industries all over. Thanks to our cooperation with AgentVegan, we open a gateway for alternative food lifestyles into the world of Esports.

“The Swedish brand is the one-stop online shop for plant-based options and they push a product range that goes from their PigOut snacks from Outstanding Foods to their Vivo Life line, their plant-based protein powders and boosters.”

Despite 2021 being in its infancy, the year has already seen a number of retail outlets make a move into the esports space. Alongside AgentVegan, both Aldi in France and Lidl in Germany have announced partnerships with the likes of Team Vitality and SK Gaming respectively.

In the release, AgentVegan has cited that the company is looking to use this partnership to expand its reach in the Swedish market, alongside garnering a wider audience in Europe.

The company joins the likes of Chinese live-streaming platform Huya and esports gambling platform Gamdom in partnering with HomeSweetHome.

Esports Insider says: It’s always interesting to see new partners come into the esports sector and Relog Media’s deal with AgentVegan is no different. Not much is known as to what extent the webshop’s branding will be integrated into the broadcast, however, the partnership does signify the growth of Relog Media as it has been able to secure a non-endemic sponsor ahead of the SnowSweetSnow main stage.
