As well as providing peripherals to the esports organisation’s players, CORSAIR’s partnership with BIG has included a range of content activations. This includes CORSAIRSHOTS, which provided insights into the team’s everyday life.

BIG also reportedly influenced the development of CORSAIR’s ‘CHAMPION SERIES’ line of gaming peripherals.

Daniel Finkler, CEO of BIG, commented: “We value loyalty and trust very highly. And CORSAIR has been by our side through all our phases, in good times and bad. CORSAIR’s gaming peripherals are high quality, precise, and best suited for ambitious gamers, and we are proud to represent such a renowned brand with our athletes around the globe. Therefore, I am delighted to extend two more years and celebrate our five-year partnership soon after.”

BIG and CORSAIR first partnered in 2018, with the hardware brand supposedly being one of the first sponsors of the team during its early stages of growth.

Alongside CORSAIR, BIG has also secured partnerships with the likes of Betway, die Bayerische, Skin Baron, BackForce, and OMEN, among others.

As of this writing, BIG fields teams in League of Legends, Quake, Starcraft 2, Trackmania, and VALORANT. Last year, the organisation’s CS: GO team reached the number one spot in the world rankings.

Frank Fields, CORSAIR Senior Manager of Esports & Sponsorships, added: “BIG has been a key partner for CORSAIR for several years. When we began our partnership, we saw a small CS: GO team with incredible potential that we wanted to help grow over time. Since then, BIG has become a leading international esports organisation.

“We are honoured to keep giving this team support and look forward to growing our partnership even further in the years to come.”

Esports Insider says: In the last three years, BIG grew from a team with high potential to one of the world heavyweights, and the initial push from CORSAIR surely helped that. The renewal of the partnership will undoubtedly see new types of content and hardware produced by both parties.
