Alongside opening applications, the foundation also revealed that it has joined forces with Acer‘s Predator brand to assist in providing new equipment.

According to a release, each applicant that receives the Envy Foundation Empowerment Grant presented by Predator can use the funds to develop its esports curriculums by purchasing new gaming equipment, joining youth esports leagues, or expanding existing programming.

Adam Rymer, CEO of Envy Gaming, spoke on opening applications: “Core to our mission for the Envy Foundation is the support of STEAM initiatives through gaming and providing more opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds to have richer, healthier, rewarding experiences.

“We’re excited to launch the Envy Foundation’s inaugural grant programme in partnership with Predator, one of the world’s top PC gaming brands, to give deserving schools or clubs in our Texas community the opportunity and funds to scale their interest in and passion for esports.”

Applications for a grant opened on August 23rd and will remain open until September 24th. Once closed, ‘no less than five’ recipients will be selected to receive a grant. The Varsity Esports Foundation will vet and confirm eligibility for those applying.

Esports Insider says: The Empowerment Grant created by the Envy Foundation is a perfect opportunity for a number of youth esports programmes. The funds given to the programmes that successfully apply have the potential to make a real difference at a grassroots level, consolidating Texas as one of the industry’s biggest hubs in North America.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
