North American esports organisation Pittsburgh Knights has announced the hiring of Julie
Klausner as its new Director of Partnership Marketing.
In her new role, Klausner will ‘help build the future of professional gaming in Pittsburgh and beyond’, bringing 20 years of sports partnership experience to the table.

Prior to joining Knights, Klausner served as an independent consultant through her own firm, JK Consultants, Inc. As Senior Marketing Manager for the Pittsburg Penguins, she was part of a Partnership Sales team that led the negotiations, planning, execution, tracking and reporting of 160 contractual partnerships.
Other career highlights include Rahal Letterman Racing, and Major League Baseball, as well as collaborating with corporate clients like PNC, IBM, Shell, Toyota, Motorola, and more.

Klausner will help coordinate key partnerships for the organisation and manage existing collaborations, including those with PNC Bank, HyperX, Boost Gaming, ExpressVPN, SeolHaeOne Prince parent company Absolute Power eSports (APE) and more.

She also joins the team at a key time to help lead diversity initiatives such as its all-female VALORANT tournament with Beautyblender and an equity platform in the works with PNC Bank.
