Multi-regional organisation Team Liquid has announced it will continue its existing partnership with computer technology company Kingston Technology, the former parent company of gaming peripherals firm HyperX.
As a result, Kingston Technology’s FURY line of computer memory will become the official RAM of Team Liquid.
The two parties will collaborate on a range of activations, including behind-the-scenes content involving the organisation’s players and customised experiences on the Liquid+ fan platform.
Craig Tilmont, Senior Director of Marketing at Kingston Technology, spoke on the news in a release: “We’re excited to continue working with Team Liquid and provide the same great high-performance memory and customer service that they can depend on, now with Kingston FURY.
“Whether you’re on an esports team or just want to game like your favourite Team Liquid players, Kingston FURY will help you achieve the ultimate gaming experience. The fun has just begun, so stay tuned for what’s next from Team Liquid and Kingston FURY.”

The deal is the first esports partnership by Kingston Technology since Hewlett Packard acquired HyperX from the company in June. The company has been one of Team Liquid’s longest-standing partners having joined forces over a decade ago.
Esports Insider says: As one of Team Liquid’s long-standing partners, the extension with Kingston Technology is certainly positive news after the company offloaded HyperX. It will be interesting to see if Kingston will enter similar deals with organisations previously associated with the peripherals brand.
