FURY is a performance-oriented sub-brand of Kingston, a global manufacturer of memory systems such as RAM modules, solid-state drives, and memory cards. Since this year’s sale of HyperX to HP, FURY has become the only performance brand for Kingston. As of now, FURY branding is reserved for high-performance RAM modules designed for gaming PCs.

Cloud9, a leading esports organisation now joins the ranks of teams supported by Kingston FURY. These include polish team Virtus.pro and Team Liquid. The company currently offers a number of different RAM modules, such as its Beast and Renegade PC modules and Impact laptop modules.

Craig Tilmont, Senior Director of Marketing for Kingston, commented: “Kingston continues to be dedicated to esports and the gaming community, designing products specifically engineered for gamers and tech enthusiasts. We’re thrilled to have Cloud9 on board to showcase Kingston FURY next-gen memory in their gaming systems.”

The companies announced that the partnership won’t just be tied to supplying RAM modules to players. Additional planned activations, such as exclusive giveaways and video content, were also announced.

Esports Insider says: After the sale of HyperX to HP, Kingston has looked to reinvent its high-performance brand FURY. If the recent deals are anything to go by, there will certainly be a lot more esports teams using Kingston RAM sticks in the future. It’ll be interesting to see what the collaborative activations between both brands will be.

  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
