UK-based esports organisation London Esports has announced a partnership with technology campus Here East.
As a result, the campus will become the organisation’s official training facility partner. Situated within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London Esports will have access to private space within Here East for its teams to practise and for any activations taking place in 2022.

The UK esport organisation joins the likes of game developer Sports Interactive and Staffordshire University London as residents in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Gavin Poole, CEO of Here East, added: “London Esports will bring deep understanding and expertise of competitive gaming and the talent required to thrive in the industry to our growing esports campus at Here East.
“Our community of esports content developers, students and tech innovators will relish the opportunity to learn from, and collaborate with, London Esports. I am delighted to welcome them to our campus.”
The last 12 months have seen London Esports continue its upward trajectory, securing partnerships with peripherals brand ROCCAT and CBD wellness drinks brand Aver. When announced, the Aver partnership was believed to be the first of its kind to take place within the esports industry.

Alfie Wright, Founder and CEO of London Esports, spoke on the partnership: “Since meeting Gavin in 2019 and hearing about his vision on how HereEast can play a part in the UK’s growth in esports, I knew that we needed to be involved.
“I am now very excited that we can announce this partnership. I’m sure, together, that we can continue to build what is an exciting time for UK esports and both London Esports and HereEast will play a major part in this.”
Esports Insider says: As London Esports prepares for 2022, having a dedicated facility at Here East will enable its rosters to train and have a space to set out future plans. With an already impressive partnership roster, it will be interesting to see what the organisation has in store over the coming months.
