North American gaming and esports company FaZe Clan has partnered with delivery and local commerce company DoorDash.
DoorDash will become the ‘official on-demand delivery platform’ for FaZe Clan. Moreover, DoorDash branding will feature across FaZe Clan platforms in the future.
In addition, FaZe Clan talent will work on content with the new partner. As a result of the partnership, FaZe Clan and DoorDash will also create a content series on Twitch called ‘DashDays’, where fans will be able to get rewards for viewing streams supported by DoorDash.
Lastly, the two brands announced will collaborate on live events and activations throughout the partnership. Both entities did not reveal the duration of the deal or any financial details.
Adam Bauer, SVP of Partnerships at FaZe Clan, commented: “We are excited to name DoorDash as the official on-demand delivery platform of FaZe Clan and look forward to the boundary-pushing collaborations, exciting products, live events and innovative content we’ll be dropping this year.”
DoorDash has been active in the esports space for a few years. The company notably partnered with the NBA 2K League in 2021 and also became a naming rights partner for the League of Legends Oceanic league (LCO).
David Bornoff, DoorDash’s Head of Brand Marketing, added: “We are thrilled to be the official on-demand delivery platform of FaZe Clan and support gamers as the one-stop-shop for everything they need to seamlessly support their gaming rituals and eliminate down time so they can focus on the games they love.”
Esports Insider says: FaZe Clan has announced two interesting partnerships in just a couple days. The collaboration with DoorDash seems like a good idea, especially since the company is already familiar with gaming and esports.
