Esports and gaming company Wisdom Gaming has renewed its partnership with game developer Riot Games for the North American circuit of its Rising Legends Teamfight Tactics tournament series.

The circuit will take place from July to October 2022, with the best players from the region advancing to the Dragonlands World Championship later this year.

The tournament series is the latest in a series of collaborations between Wisdom Gaming and Riot Games. The two companies announced a partnership renewal in November 2021, which saw Wisdom operate not only North American Teamfight Tactics tournaments, but the World Championships.

Riot Games also partnered with GGTech entertainment to operate a similar tournament circuit in Europe, called the Rising Legends. It will feature a number of cups, and the winners will get the opportunity to play in the Rising Legends Finals.

The two companies have also worked on championships in other Riot titles, such as Legends of Runeterra and League of Legends: Wild Rift, the latter of which Wisdom produced its Summoner Series tournament.

Wisdom Gaming has been the official broadcast production company and tournament organiser for Teamfight Tactics in North America for the last five years.

The upcoming tournament series will be called Rising Legends: Dragonlands and follows on from the title releasing its later ‘set’. Dragonlands is the seventh set in Teamfight Tactics since the game’s release.

The North American tournament will end in October 2022, with the finals will take place over three days. Riot and Wisdom did not announce whether the finals will be held in front of a live audience, and also did not mention how many players from North America will qualify for the World Championship.
