The Esports Awards has partnered with RAID: Shadow Legends developer Plarium.

As a result, Plarium will present the Esports PC Player of the Year award at this year’s ceremony, which is set to take place on December 13th in Las Vegas.

In addition, Plarium will be featured throughout Esports Awards’ campaign through its ‘Spotlight’ shows leading up to the event. Later this month, the company is set to unveil the inductees for its Lifetime Achievement award.

Plarium and Esports Awards also have launched a series of custom integrations that have been implemented into RAID: Shadow Legends. This includes in-game perks as well as enabling voting for PC Player of the Year.

The game publisher joins the likes of Verizon, Tyson, Secretlab, Truman Factory and Sizzle Creative as event partners of the Esports Awards.

Whilst RAID: Shadow Legends is not a name typically mentioned when talking about esports, this isn’t the mobile title’s first integration within the scene. Last year, NAVI teamed up with the title for a range of activations. This included CS:GO player Oleksandr ‘S1mple’ Kostyliev becoming a playable Champion in the game, as well as NAVI jersey placement.

Moreover, ESL Gaming also secured a deal with Plarium for ESL Pro League‘s fourteenth season.

Michael Ashford, CEO of Esports Awards, commented: “I am excited that Plarium is joining us as a partner for this year’s awards, which are set to be a one-of-a-kind event.

“It’s a true reflection of what we have built here at Esports Awards over the last seven years that we are able to welcome an industry-leading partner in Plarium. I look forward to seeing everyone’s reactions to the activations we have planned together.”

Alongside RAID: Shadow Legends, Plarium is also the developer of mobile games such as Mech Arena: Robot Showdown and Undersea: Solitaire Tripeaks.
