Esports odds provider Oddin.gg has announced Richard Kidd, a former Bayes Esports executive, as its new Senior Executive Advisor.
With experience in marketing and sales in the digital media and technology industries, Kidd will advise Oddin as it plans to add more value to clients and prospects through the company’s services.
Kidd is not the first former Bayes Esports professional that Oddin has hired. Weeks earlier, the company also named Juana Bischoff, former Director of Global Accounts at Bayes, as its Senior Business Development Manager, as well as Mark Balch, Bayes’ former VP of Product, as its Director of Strategy. Kidd, though, does not come directly from Bayes as he left the company in February 2022.
Oddin’s hires follow the $4.5m (£3.7m) Series A funding round raised by the company in August, an investment that aimed at strengthening the team and expanding its portfolio.
Oddin.gg Co-founder and Managing Director, Marek Suchar, commented: “His knowledge of business monetisation and development will be extremely valuable to Oddin.gg. We have been intensively looking into some new avenues where we can bring additional value to both existing clients as well as prospects.

Even prior to the Series A funding round, Oddin had expanded its operations over the last 12 months. The odds provider aquired esports betting marketing agency Thousand Lives, moreover, Oddin counts on prominent betting brands like Betway, Esports Entertainment Group, LOOT.BET and Duelbits as partners.
