European esports organisation OG Esports has announced a partnership with Southeast Asian service app Grab.

The collaboration is specifically tied to Dota 2’s The International 2022 (TI 2022), which is taking place in Singapore next month. Grab users and OG fans in Singapore will gain access to promotions and benefits leading up to Dota 2’s international showcase.

A range of promo codes from Grab and OG will be eligible on GrabFood orders from September 26th to October 31st. Additionally, the app will be sponsoring OG’s GrabFood and GrabMart orders throughout its stay in the country.

Originally starting out as a Southeast Asian taxi application in 2012, Grab has gone on to implement a ‘super-app’ model that provides users with a wide array of services. This includes transportation, food delivery and digital payment services via the mobile app.

As part of the collaboration, Grab users and OG fans will also gain opportunities to participate in exclusive challenges throughout TI 2022. Whilst the challenges have not been revealed, some of the prizes include tickets to the TI 2022 Grand Final as well as signed OG jerseys from its Dota 2 team.

According to an announcement, the partnership looks to celebrate TI being held in Singapore for the very first time, as well as support the organisation’s team competing at the event.

OG Esports is one of the strong favourites for this year’s The International, having won both ESL One Malaysia and Stockholm in 2022. The organisation is also a previous TI champion, winning the global event in 2018 and 2019.

Romane Sorine, Head of Partnerships at OG Esports, commented: “2022 has been a year of new beginnings for OG, and we are excited to create new opportunities for our fans to feel closer to the action and take part in the journey we’ve set out on with Grab.

“Being the first esports team to collaborate with Grab Singapore in the lead-up to TI is a great privilege for OG, and we hope this will also help our fans and players enjoy the convenience of the platform.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
