European esports organisation G2 Esports has announced changes in its leadership structure, with Alban Dechelotte appointed permanent CEO and Sabrina Ratih named as G2’s new COO.

Dechelotte acted as an interim CEO for the company since the departure of G2’s founder and former CEO Carlos Rodriguez. He will continue leading the company besides new COO Sabrina Ratih and CFO Philippe Adam.

Prior to joining G2 esports in 2021, Dechelotte worked at Riot Games as the company’s Head of Partnership and Business Development in the EMEA region. He also held two senior positions at the Coca-Cola Company, including the role of Senior Entertainment Marketing Manager, in which he collaborated with gaming and music partnerships.

Sabrina Ratih, former interim Commercial Director of G2 Esports, rejoins the company as its new permanent COO. Ratih worked as an Interim Commercial Director at G2 for a little over a year and ended her tenure in June 2022. She will take over the company’s operations from now on. Ratih’s career has seen her also hold the position of Head of Global Partnerships for energy drink brand Red Bull.

Ratih and Dechelotte join Philippe Adam, G2’s Chief Financial Officer, who joined the company in the summer of 2022. The new leadership structure, according to G2 Esports, is set to lead the organisation to more success in the future.
