Game data company GRID Esports has renewed and expanded its partnership with sports and esports betting platform Pinnacle for 2023.

Both parties are looking to expand the scope of their partnership by introducing betting solutions for Riot Game’s FPS title VALORANT.

This expansion is possible thanks to GRID entering a two-year partnership with Riot Games in 2022, thus gaining exclusive access to data from all of VALORANT’s main global and regional tournaments.

Moreover, the focus of the GRID and Pinnacle’s collaboration will remain on further advancing Pinnacle’s esports betting solutions with the help of GRID’s data. Ensuring the continuation of the CS:GO Pinnacle Cup Series is also at the forefront of both entities’ plans, according to the release.

Frist commencing the partnership in 2019, Pinnacle and GRID have since delivered three iterations of the CS:GO Pinnacle Cup. In 2022, both parties also launched the Pinnacle Cup Championship, an offline event that took place in Lund, Sweden and featured a $250,000 (⁓£202,000) prize pool.

Besides Pinnacle, GRID has also struck deals with other prominent betting platforms and bookmakers, including Parimatch, GG.BET and bet365, among others. In addition, the company’s roster of partners boasts the likes of game developer KRAFTON, as well as tournament organisers WePlay Esports and StarLadder.
