French-based esports representation agency Prodigy Agency has named Adrian ‘Hatchy’ Widera, Misfits Gaming’s former Sports Director, as its League of Legends agent for Europe.

In his role, Widera will be responsible for the agency’s League of Legends players and talent on its roster.

In addition to providing protection and support to the talent Prodigy Agency represents, Widera will expand the initiative to support more players competing in Riot Games’ MOBA title.

During his time as Misfits Sports Director, Widera led the organisation’s LEC and LFL operations alongside creating a number of grassroots projects aiming to scout up-and-coming talents across continental Europe.

The hire marks Prodigy Agency’s first hire of 2023. In recent months, the agency has bolstered its operations with four hires that include Anand Agarwal as its North American League of Legends agent. The company now amasses a total of 36 employees across nine countries and three regions.

Prodigy Agency represents several players across a variety of titles including CS:GO, Fortnite, and Rocket League. For League of Legends, the likes of Kacper ‘Inspired’ Słoma and Finn ‘Finn’ Wiestål are represented by Prodigy Agency which promotes its ‘#PlayersFirst’ motto.
