ZOWIE, the esports division of electronics manufacturer BenQ, has partnered with game publisher Riot Games for VALORANT Champions Tour Pacific.

As a result of the two-year deal, ZOWIE will provide its XL2566K gaming monitors to all players that participate in VCT Pacific.

In the announcement, no information about potential activations or finances were disclosed.

ZOWIE is a hardware brand most known for its attention to detail and quality. The brand was founded in 2008, and is one of the brands most associated with FPS players. ZOWIE mice were favoured by Counter-Strike professionals for more than 10 years, and the company merged with Taiwanese electronics brand BenQ in 2016, renaming its products to ‘ZOWIE by BenQ’.

The VCT Pacific is a franchised VALORANT league that is set to start in March 2023. The competition fields partner teams such as GEN.G, T1 and Team Secret, among others.

Interestingly, ZOWIE is one of the first announced hardware partners for the VCT in general, with the brand also supplying VCT Americas with the same monitor model. The brand already partnered with VCT EMEA in late 2022, making the brand one of the most prominent hardware partners of the VCT to date.

ZOWIE has also partnered with the likes of PGL and ESL for CS:GO tournaments as an official monitor partner. Alongside monitors, the company is also known for its range of gaming mice.

The VCT Pacific is set to take place from March 25th to May 28th in the Sangam Colosseum in Seoul, South Korea. Along with the other regional leagues, this season will be the first for the VALORANT esports scene after a major restructuring that took place in 2022.
