Liverpool-based esports venue Level Tap has announced three new partnerships to help kit out the facility prior to its grand opening.
The venue, set to open later this month, has teamed up with gaming PC builder AlphaSync to custom build and supply ten console stations, 20 PCs and two racing simulators. AlphaSync is exclusive to electronic commerce retailer Ebuyer.
AlphaSync will use components from ASUS and ROG (Republic of Gamers) to accommodate the venue. On top of bolstering its gaming hardware, Level Tap has also partnered with energy drink brand Red Bull and Liverpool-based pizza chain American Pizza Slice.
In addition, visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy custom-built retro arcade games from Roll Model Arcade of St Helens.
The two-level 6,500 square feet location is situated inside the Liverpool ONE shopping, leisure and residential complex. Level Tap will be fitted out and delivered by property management company The Momentum Group, with floors dedicated to streamers, competing teams and general gaming customers.
This includes a level where streamers or competing teams play and have their gameplay broadcast onto TVs around the venue. The lower level features a 100-person capacity arena, gaming booths, a bar, a dining area and a decompression lounge.
Level Tap Co-founder, Adam Rydings, highlighted the venue’s versatility. “The ability to transition seamlessly within our venue from a traditional sports bar experience to an esports arena, to split screen sofa style gaming and to a racing simulator arcade, as well as having something for those who just want to enjoy a playing an arcade game or have a bite eat is what makes Level Tap unique.”
