European esports organisation Fnatic has secured a multi-year partnership with INZONE, the gaming gear brand of multinational technology company Sony.
As Fnatic’s official gaming headset and monitor partner, INZONE will collaborate with the organisation on product design and the development of concepts in a bid to ‘set new industry standards’.
Alongside developing products, Fnatic’s jerseys will feature INZONE’s logo while the brand will be integrated into the organisation’s roster of content creators.
According to a release, the deal will leverage Fnatic’s reach in key markets across the UK, Europe, Japan, US, and beyond.
This is Sony INZONE’s first global partnership with an esports organisation. Nevertheless, this is certainly not the gaming gear brand’s first foray into esports. In June 2022, INZONE joined forces with fighting game tournament Evo and Riot Games’ VALORANT Champions Tour.
Sony INZONE becomes the seventh partner of Fnatic, joining the likes of snack manufacturer Jack Link’s and cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com on its roster. Last year also saw Fnatic announce a variety of unique activations which included launching a lofi album and designing a gaming mouse with BMW.
Sam Matthews, CEO of Fnatic, spoke on the deal: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome INZONE into the Fnatic family as a long-term partner of our organisation.
“Together we look forward to exciting the audience, pushing the boundaries in both product development through our world-class roster of players and amplification of the INZONE brand globally via our unrivalled fanbase of over 30+ million worldwide.”
