North American esports organisation 100 Thieves has announced it will host a watch party event for the finals of VALORANT Champions 2023.

The event will see a number of activations from 100 Thieves’ commercial partners as the organisation commemorates the season-ending VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) tournament taking place in Los Angeles, California.

In addition to the activations, the 100 Thieves Summer Block Party will unveil “the launch and sale of a major collaboration.” Details on the collaboration were not disclosed and the all-day event will take place on August 26th.

Furthermore, attendees will have an opportunity to meet with 100 Thieves’ VALORANT players and talent from Los Angeles-based music company 88rising.

The VALORANT Champions marks the conclusion of the 2023 season. 16 teams from across the world are competing for a chance to become champion and win a share of $2.25m (~£1.77m) in prize money.

100 Thieves isn’t the only organisation creating VALORANT Champions activations. Prior to the tournament, North American organisation Team Liquid released a music anthem and video in collaboration with its long-time commercial partner Ailenware.

The 100 Thieves Summer Block Party will take place at the 100 Thieves Cash App Compound, a short distance from the KIA Forum where the VALORANT Champions final will take place.

Viewing parties continue to prove a popular option for organisations. In June 2023, Team Liquid and District E hosted a League of Legends viewing event.

In recent months, 100 Thieves has consolidated its position as one of the most recognisable esports organisations in North America. In May 2023, it extended its existing partnership with beer brand Heineken and secured a deal with sandwich chain Subway.
