Esports industry awards show Esports Awards has named internet service provider Xfinity as the show’s Official Supporting Partner.

As a result, Xfinity will present the Esports Content Creator of the Year award at the 2023 Esports Awards ceremony taking place on November 30th.

According to a release, Esports Awards partnering with Xfinity aligns with the ceremony’s goal of ‘elevating the esports industry’ and Xfinity’s aim to provide gamers with high-quality, low-latency internet connection across the United States of America.

In addition to presenting awards during the Esports Awards ceremony, Xfinity will also introduce a ‘VIP Esports Awards experience’ through the providers’ customer appreciation programme. The VIP experience includes the opportunity for fans to attend the ceremony along with industry figures, players, and content creators.

Xfinity is no stranger to embarking on esports initiatives. In 2020, it became the presenting sponsor of the Overwatch League. Moreover, in October 2022 the company partnered with North American esports organisation FaZe Clan, which parted ways with Lee Trink on September 11th, 2023.

Xfinity becomes the fifth partner of the Esports Awards joining the likes of Amazon Music and sunglasses brand Oakley, which signed a two-year renewal of its existing partnership in February 2023.

Mike Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards, spoke on the deal: “This partnership with Xfinity represents a significant milestone for the Esports Awards.

“Xfinity’s dedication to innovation and the esports community aligns perfectly with our mission to celebrate the incredible talents and achievements within the industry.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
