UK esports organisation EXCEL ESPORTS has partnered with gaming furniture manufacturer Sybr, a part of Senator Group’s furniture brands.

The year-long partnership will see EXCEL equip its training facilities with Sybr chairs. Moreover, the two brands will work together on the development of gaming chairs.

Sybr is a new venture created by The Senator Group, a holding company consisting of several office and home furniture brands, such as office furniture brand SENATOR and Allermuir. The new brand is its first entry into esports, with Senator Group having more than 45 years of experience in furniture design.

Since Sybr is such a young brand, there is a veil of mystery surrounding its products. According to a release, the brand will create chairs that focus on comfort and support. Sybr aims for its chairs to improve posture, endurance and focus of players during gaming sessions, something that EXCEL players will make use of during training.

EXCEL ESPORTS, being the first major partner for the chair brand, will serve as the global ambassador for Sybr, helping spread the word of the company through its audience. EXCEL previously partnered with gaming chair brand Andaseat in 2021.

Senator Group is not the first furniture brand that made moves in the esports space, with the most notable venture being Herman Miller through its collaboration with Logitech G.

Paul Hobson, Product & Design Director at The Senator Group and Creator of Sybr, added: “Sybr was born out of a passion for delivering unparalleled comfort and support to gamers. With our expertise in furniture design and manufacturing, we’re thrilled to partner with Excel Esports, an organisation that shares our vision for pushing the boundaries in the gaming industry.

“Our chairs are meticulously crafted to empower players and enthusiasts to reach new levels of focus and performance.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
