The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Singapore (MPL SG) has announced three new key partners for the league’s sixth season.

Fast food chain McDonald’s joins as presenting partner with shampoo brand Head & Shoulders being named an official partner of the league. Meanwhile, wellness brand OSIM International returns for a fourth season.

The MPL SG is a professional MLBB league in Singapore, created after the initial Singapore/Malaysia League split into two in 2021. The split left the Singaporean league recording significantly fewer viewers than its Malaysian counterpart, nevertheless, the several organisations within the league have placed well in subsequent international events.

According to Esports Charts, MPL Singapore Season 5 only recorded 7,600 peak viewers.

The sixth season of the league is set to start on September 9th and brings with it two new major sponsors. The partnership with McDonald’s is the first time that the fast food chain has partnered with the MPL SG, and will focus on activations and rewards for viewers.

For example, McDonald’s and MOONTON will award buyers of a certain menu item with in-game rewards during the MPL SG season. McDonald’s and MOONTON also announced that promotional codes will be featured during streams to offer delivery discounts.

American shampoo brand Head & Shoulders will create two new designs for its shampoo bottles in Singapore, featuring characters from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The shampoos will also enable buyers to win prizes such as coins, skins and merchandise.

Drina Chee, Senior Director of Marketing and Digital Customer Experience for McDonald’s Singapore, commented: “We’re thrilled to announce this new partnership between McDonald’s Singapore and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Singapore (MPL SG).

“This collaboration marks a milestone, elevating the overall experience for fans and reflecting our shared commitment in growing the Singapore esports scene. Together with MPL SG, we’re hoping to redefine gaming experiences by creating unforgettable moments for fans of both McDonald’s and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.”
