The trophy will weigh around nine kilograms and features a wide base with the FNCS logo created out of Swarovski crystals as its centrepiece.

The Austrian company specialises in glassware and lead glass (crystal glass), as well as jewellery. The company is one of the most well-known in its branch, with hundreds of stores around the world.

This is not the first FNCS trophy created by Swarovski. The company worked with the FNCS to create a trophy for the 2022 edition. The shape of the original 2022 trophy remains the same in 2023, but the overall dimensions of the trophy have changed.

According to Swarowski, the base is larger, the arms are longer and the trophy is now golden and silver instead of silver and purple. With increased dimensions, the weight has also increased. The new trophy weighs just over nine kilograms, compared to around seven kilograms in 2022.

The trophy will be displayed at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen ahead of the LAN event so visitors can check it out in person. In addition, the trophy will be featured in the Fortnite Item Shop from October 9, 2023.

The FNCS Global Championship is set to take place between October 13 and 15 at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark, and feature a $4m (~£3.3m) prize pool.

75 duos teams with the most points throughout the season will compete for the cash prize, as well as the new and improved trophy. The participating players are decided via their performance in the Majors, large competitive events that were included this year for the first time ever.
