French esports organisation Team Vitality has renewed its existing partnership with French football club Lille Olympique Sporting Club (LOSC).

As a result, the two parties will join forces to field players in the EA Sports FC 24 esports circuit for the 2023/24 season.

To mark the renewal, Team Vitality and LOSC eSports have recruited Ilian Bouchi to its EA Sports FC roster in addition to signing Johann ‘Maniika’ Simon as the coach of the team.

Alongside the recruitment of talent, players representing Team Vitality and LOSC eSports will wear mixed jerseys to symbolise the collaboration. Players will also train at the Team Vitality V.Performance bootcamp located at the Stade de France in Paris and LOSC’s Domaine de Luchin training centre.

Team Vitality and LOSC first partnered in December 2022 to create a team to compete in the eLigue 1 Uber Eats competition. The team finished the regular season in fifth place.

Since then, the organisation has continued to consolidate its position as one of Europe’s prominent esports brands. In June 2023, it inked a two-year deal with automotive marque KIA and in April 2023, it secured another two-year partnership with hardware brand CHERRY XTRFY.

Nicolas Maurer, CEO and co-Founder of Team Vitality, spoke on the renewal: “Signing LOSC for a second year is an incredible opportunity for our two clubs.

“LOSC is a club that shares our vision of excellence in competition, whether that is in esports or traditional sports. We can’t wait for the season to begin to see this new duo evolve together.”
