Williams Esports, the esports division of the Williams Formula 1 Team, has launched its own ambassador programme.

By partnering up with content creators and influencers within the esports, gaming, and motorsport industry, William Esports aims to provide exclusive content across multiple platforms.

Williams Esports’ inaugural lineup of ambassadors is made of Spanish F1 content creators Ismael ‘Sevi87‘ Tejero and Jorge ‘Jorpaa‘ Alberola, as well as Jake ‘Meraki‘ Lester from Great Britain.

According to the announcement, the racing team will help build the ambassador’s social profiles, network, and ‘entertainment value’. Moreover, Williams Esports aims to utilise its new team of content creators to help bolster the division both on a competitive and fan engagement level.

Williams has previously collaborated with notbale content creators and organisation within the esports and motorsports industries, including the likes of Ibai Llanos, DUX Gaming, Resolve, Pitstop Podcast, Haydon Gullis and MattP1Tommy.

The esports division’s latest activation took place in London with the Piccadilly Fan Zone 2023 in July. Earlier this month, the company also announced its first-ever student competition, the Student Racing League, featuring the best student racers from 30 educational institutions in the UK.
