Esports tournament organiser BLAST has announced that seven brands will be joining as partners for the Six Invitational 2024.

The Six Invitational 2024, which began today, has partnered with Intel, Lenovo, JBL, Eureka Ergonomics, Kingston Technology, CTRL and Aura.

The Six Invitational is taking place at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera, São Paulo, Brazil, and will see the best Rainbow Six Siege teams compete against each other for a chance to lift the iconic hammer trophy and receive some of the $3m (~£2.4m) prize pool.

One of the biggest partners in esports is Intel, largely due to its presence in every aspect of the industry from grassroots to the biggest of stages. The PC hardware manufacturer will be the official event partner for the Six Invitational.

Both Eureka Ergonomics and CTRL are no strangers to sponsoring Rainbow Six events as Eureka Ergonomics’ chairs were used by all the players at the BLAST Atlanta Major and CTRL was the event’s official cookie partner. The former will once again be providing players with chairs whilst Kingston Technology will be providing SSDs. The entire competition’s connectivity will be provided by Aura Brazil, which has supplied its fibre services across the entire event.

JBL, the official peripheral partner, and Lenovo, the Official Laptop Partner, will have activations for the fans in attendance as JBL’s quantum headsets and Lenovo’s laptops will be available for fans to test out. These won’t be the only fan activities on-site, as Intel Brazil will be hosting meet-and-greets with players and other personalities from the Rainbow Six Siege community.

Alexander Lewin, Senior Vice President of Commercial Revenue for BLAST, spoke about the partners and the event as a whole, stating: “The Six Invitational 2024 continues to build in excitement and scale – we’re thrilled to be bringing onboard seven exceptional partners for the biggest event in the Rainbow Six esports calendar.

“Alongside Ubisoft, we are immensely proud to announce a record number of commercial partners for a Rainbow Six esports event as well as record ticket sales in what is shaping up to be an unforgettable event. Fans can expect lots of exciting entertainment and activations from our diverse selection of partners, whether watching along on the global broadcast or in attendance at the arena.”

The tournament begins today and will entertain a crowd from the 23rd to the 25th of February at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera arena.

Francois Tallec, Vice President of Brand & Transmedia Partnerships at Ubisoft, said: “This Six Invitational will be the largest esports event in the Rainbow Six Siege history, coming to Brazil for the first time and reaching an unprecedented level of attendance. This event is of strategic importance to Ubisoft and its esports ambitions, so we couldn’t be more excited to deliver it alongside such prestigious partners for the 2024 edition!

“Our goal is to provide our fans with best-in-class entertainment value, and having partners that will elevate the experience of our fans with creative integrations is ultimately serving this goal.”
