Asian esports organisation TALON Esports has announced a partnership with scented oil and inhaler brand Peppermint Field ahead of the 2024 Arena of Valor season.

The partnership will see Peppermint Field become the official inhaler partner for the organisation’s Arena of Valor roster. Activations and campaigns created to promote healthier habits and nasal health are also planned.

Peppermint Field is owned by Bertram 1958, a company that created a peppermint-based oil recipe more than 50 years ago. Peppermint Field focuses on using a similar formula in inhalers to provide users with a strong peppermint-based scent.

The partnership with TALON Esports will see different activations and co-branding opportunities. TALON’s Arena of Valor players will wear the company’s logo on their jerseys, and the two companies will create lanyards for players, enabling them to use inhalers during play and streaming. In addition, the duo wants to create co-branded activations through social media.

The organisation Arena of Valor team competes in the RoV Pro League, which is currently in its 2024 Summer split. Alongside TALON, organisations such as PSG Esports and Bacon Time compete in the offline Thai tournament.

Meena Akrapongpisak, Assistant Vice President of Marketing at Bertram (1958) Co., Ltd commented: “We believe in TALON’s determination and drive that has allowed them to achieve national and international championships.  Furthermore, we aim to support TALON as a means of inspiring and encouraging the younger Thai generations to pursue their passions in gaming and esports on international stages.

TALON has had quite an eventful start to the year. The company has recently announced a strategic partnership with NFT MOBA game Apeiron, with TALON players being advisors to the game’s developers. Competitively, TALON entered the PUBG Mobile Super League as a partner team. TALON’s roster is also the reigning champion of the Arena of Valor International Championship 2023.
